• John Vaughn, from the Northeast Community Development Corporation (NE/CDC) will be present to discuss the canvass and how it relates to increasing ANA's capacity to better represent and serve Audubon Park.

Recently, NE/CDC worked with ANA to canvass the Audubon Park neighborhood door to door. This is one of the fundamentals of community organizing, and while labor intensive, creates a significant connection with the community at-large. ANA and NE CDC were able to field 13 teams for an entire afternoon. Great job!

• John Vaughn will present NE/CDC's new PowerPoint presentation called, "Go-Time for Northeast." The theme of this presentation is that on the heels of the new Central Avenue Plan, and in light of all the current development activity on Central, that the entire Northeast community has a window of opportunity right now for revitalizing Central and for strengthening the Arts District.
