The NE Urban 4-H group was out in full force raking leaves for seniors as part of the NE Royalty Program's Annual Raking for Seniors event in November.
The NE 4-H club is an active fun club for both boys and girls that focuses on learning, leadership, outdoors and community service. Kid-driven, this club meets the second and last Monday of the month at 6:30 pm at Northeast Middle School. If you would like to join us, contact Robin Sauerwein at 612-751-5124 or robindyson@msn.com.
Upcoming activities include a winter community service project like a coat drive, an international night, recycled art projects, photography, geocaching, baking and lots more.
We are also interested in hearing from local organizations looking for kids who are willing to help with a community service project.
