Movies in the Park Comes to Audubon Park on June 28

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board has packed more than 80 movies into its third annual Movies in the Parks series. The mobile series, which travels to parks across the city throughout the summer, will run Monday through Saturday, June 14-Aug. 28. "Batman Begins" will be shown at Audubon Park on Monday, June 28.

Movies are free to the public and start 15 minutes after sunset. This summer's series features nightly themes for all ages: Action/Adventure Mondays, Classic Tuesdays, New Release Wednesdays, Series/Specialty Thursdays, Family Fridays and Variety Saturdays. People are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair or pack a picnic basket for a fun and relaxing summer evening. Snacks will be for sale at locations.
