The Pothole Palooza Benefit Concert at the Historic Hollywood Theater  April 6, 2024 Tickets on Sale Now!!

Coming to the Historic Hollywood Theater Saturday, April 6, 2024: Five Bands, Five Genres! It's the Pothole Palooza Concert! Support your local businesses because ALL proceeds go to repair the Public 29th and Johnson Street NE Merchants Parking Lot.  Music starts at 3pm with 12-string guitarist, Peter Ruddy playing traditional Celtic music; at 4pm, the Bullfrogs play Blues and Americana; 5pm the Walker Brothers Band takes the stage with Latin & Folk; 6pm Johnny Holliday and Willie Moore serenade with Latin Jazz and, at 7pm, Tropicante will fill the auditorium with great percussion and high energy Latin Jazz! Tickets are $15 in advance (www.audubonneighborhood.org), $20 at the Door. This concert is sponsored by the Audubon Neighborhood Association, Audubon Business Network, Turbo Tims, the Northeaster Newspaper, and Fredrickson and Byron P.A. The Audubon Garden Club

Tuesdays from 4-7pm starting May 14, 2024! We'll be learning and planning, and planting, and weeding, and snacking, and growing, and so much more at the Northeast Market Garden (2800 Johnson Street NE, just across from the Hollywood Theater!) in Northeast Minneapolis. All ages and gardening skills needed. Everyone is welcome! We can't wait to see you!

Minneapolis Climate Equity Plan

The Minneapolis City Council recently approved the City's Climate Equity Plan, furthering the City's ambitious health and sustainability goals, while keeping Minneapolis on the leading edge for reducing greenhouse gases and reaching city carbon neutral by 2050. 

Environmental justice and equity 

The City seeks to improve the health and well-being of people living in Green Zone communities who are unfairly affected by pollution, racism, and poverty.

The City aims to achieve an environmentally just, resilient, low-carbon, and equitable community by implementing a Climate Equity Plan that benefits everyone.

The mission of the Audubon Neighborhood Association is to encourage interaction and involvement amongst the people in our community and its organizations; to foster the continuing improvement of property and businesses within its boundaries; to increase security and safety within the neighborhood; to convey to other organizations, including government and business, the concerns of the neighbors represented.

The Audubon Park neighborhood is bounded by St. Anthony Parkway, Central Avenue, Lowry Avenue and Stinson Parkway.
